LED tube as a new energy saving lamp products ,now ,it is very poluare in North Amrica and there is no speical standard for this products now .The detection of Led tube products has changed a project for all of the led industry now .Since saw this condition The UL laboratory in US is organizing some experts to write the UL8570 standard for the Led tube products .This standard now is only a draft and is not adopted as a certificate standard .So The problem of the Led tube detection is not solved now .
The retionale of the Led tube is use the switching power supply mould to change the AC input toDC input so that it can offer the power to the Led ttube .Follow the retionale and featurs of the Led tube ,the US MET laboratory advised a new solution :Adopt the old standard UL1993 of traditional fluorescent lamp Traditional energy-saving lamps American certification standards UL1993 (corresponding Canadian Standards CAN/CSA-C22.2No.0, CAN/CSA-C22.2No.74), and power module standard UL1310 or UL1012 (corresponding Canadian Standards CAN/CSA-C22. 2No.107) of the LED tube testing and certification.

1, material
